TNP LIVE EP111 Projecting Terror w/ Ken Silva of HeadlineUSA: Monologue
The stories I decided to focus on this week are about troubled men. The first to be targeted but the last to be mourned. Used by our system like all of us, but because of whatever circumstances found their way into trouble in our culture.
The situations I was placed in as a young man may have led me to where some of these men have gone if it weren't for the great support system of my family and friends when I was at that age. I also had girlfriends to occupy me during that time too. Not something all of these men had. There's something to be said about the lack of purpose in our society for single men, with no faith left in the system, and a bleak future being presented to them. But, what if it were the actions of government that created these situations for these men?
For starters, that's not fair right?
At the very least, men who have a tendency to scare women off or to take things a little too seriously when it comes to their faith or political beliefs, probably don't need any help not getting laid. And if you starve most men of that for a long time it's easy to see why they turn to mass murder.
I kid somewhat, I don't know how you guys get when it's been awhile but that sort of desperation has not lead to many wise decisions in my past and those around me. The results there were never me joining a militia or religious cult, even though the idea of wearing fresh Nikes and meeting the moon people may have been a better choice at times, but nonetheless I kept myself out of the clutches of folks who could have manipulated me into doing something even more stupid than calling an ex.
If you check out the terror watch lists our government keeps on us, you'll find pro-life people on there. Maybe when I was younger, somebody on an AIM chatroom could have radicalized me on that issue?
And that's what I'm talking about here, is our government and the organizations that it pays with our tax money, is using their wealth and power that we grant them to infiltrate men's spaces and destroy them. Rather by influencing podcast audiences to turn away from hosts or in other cases to join Al-Qaeda.
They trap these poor directionless souls and ruin them to prove political points for the establishment. So that some asshole can talk about it in a debate or in Congress about how we need to do something about the problem, that the folks doin' the askin' created.
Now that takes balls! The government, thinks it can take our money, use it to pay people to influence our youth to commit crimes, arrest them for said crimes, and then ask for more money to fix this growing threat. The fucking stones...
Now besides rotting away in a terror prison, the other outcomes we'll talk about today aren't as caring. When the government becomes the judge, jury, and executioner for a crime it helped commit, there is no hope left for justice.
When these men become shooters and suicide bombers they tell no tales. And unfortunately these days, the level of public and private surveillance through the technology we all use becomes their voice. How easily manipulated is that voice now that no one living is around to correct it?
In the end, stay away from the violent rhetoric online, the people pushing it might be doing it for other nefarious purposes. If you're lonely, maybe get a new haircut, start working out, and wash your ass.
And ladies, please do your part this holiday season to bring peace on earth.
