TNP LIVE EP110 Kissinger's Wake w/ Hrvoje Moric and Daniel Natal: Monologue
With the passing of someone like Henry Kissinger, there will be a lot of reflection on what Kissinger accomplished in his life. And as ol' Henry is hopefully getting acquainted with a pineapple, achievements like being the “2nd” in power only to former and also deceased pineapple boy President Nixon are being talked about. Winning the Nobel Peace Prize as a war criminal before Obama made it cool as another one of them. Having “advised” several presidents including zombies like Reagan and Biden, Kissipoo will be remembered fondly in the mainstream press as we cast him into his relentless torture in Hell.
I am a product of what men like Henry Kissinger did on this earth. From the protest against Zbigniew Brzezinski my father took part in to the Chinese made computer parts I'm using to type this, his sloppy mitts are all over everything. It's actually hard for me to imagine a world where America didn't fall to the Global Corporatist Oligarchy.
But who sent Henry to do the job here?
That was a question I had for today's guests before finding out the news of Kissinger's death. How does one marble mouthed fat bastard get to tell the Presidents we vote for what to do...did he win a talent show?
Maybe it's because my brain is broken after Covid, and I could never now in good conscience hand power like that to any human being and trust them with it, but the idea of one man being so influential that Presidents of many different parties wanna hear him out scares the piss outta me. Why?
Why was THIS man selected to steer the world in this direction? Of all the fat, opinionated assholes they coulda found in Academia or Politics or Banking, they picked this asshole. Was it because he was super smart?
How bout his identity? Everyone loves that shit. “He's a German-Jew”, well I'm a Goofy Goober, so who gives a fuck?
What made one man so special that he could decide who gets to produce things and who handles the services? The thought that every single economic opportunity in my life from the place where I lived growing up, the school I went to, the kind of education I got, and the kinda jobs available to me now were all put in motion in the 70's before I was born. We all toil in the aftermath of these decisions. They can't be taken back, and the world will never be restored to what it was before men like Kissinger opened this Pandora's Box so eagerly.
We all make an impact upon this earth but Kissinger's was a firebomb. One that was indiscriminate, cold, and emotionless. This is what's known as “real” in the world of politics. It's really just a version of “If you can't beat 'em, join 'em” as they'd say in the cartoons growing up.
Well being a soulless murderer is real. The death that it brings upon the earth is everlasting. Human kind should remember men like Kissinger because he shouldn't have a successor.
If we could move on as a species after trying to put these smart guys in suits and glasses into the roles once held by other mad kings and dictators, the harm done by despots of all varieties could be minimized. Our culture in the west has embraced the idea of representatives holding such power.
I wish Kissinger held an actual ring of power, one that gave him access to all the other “most powerful men in the world” and that it melts in the fires where he belongs. And if there's a grave site, we may want to appoint a representative to stand over it, to make sure that he's dead.
