The environmental disaster in East Palestine Ohio isn't anything new for blue collar towns like it anywhere on earth. Our poorest people, no matter the nation, are the ones that get to live in the places that industry used up and threw away.
I've traveled through the rust belt. I know it's people. Every former industry town, whether it be coal, steel, or now natural gas looks the same to me. The auto industry and every other industry too big to fail keeps going but the closed store fronts are surrounded by churches, liquor stores, the check cashing place, and a Dollar General. The 1st of the month is a shopping holiday. Stay away from Walmart on that day if they have one.
The air that used to be filled with soot so thick you'd have to wipe it off your windshield to see were the good times. Now everyone's on welfare and heroin. The grandsons and granddaughters and further generations will never know cradle to grave employment in somebody else's business and maybe never own their own, unless you count being a truck driver or a hair dresser. The less fortunate are workers in the jails. This is the cycle of corporatism.
Our government tells us that we are free to conduct commerce but not without their watchful eye. They claim they are protecting us by being involved in every transaction with regulations. Safety decisions too, the past few years was more in your face but they've been forcing shots on the kids for their "right" to education for much longer.
If you have enough money and lobbyists you can convince the politicians and the media to tell their people that it's the American dream to be poisoned by the processes that create our energy, our goods, and our coporatist enslavement through our education system to our job market. From the coal miners to the steel workers the working men and women who gave their health to industry so their kids could have a better and safer life of being an Uber Driver or a Cam Girl. Grandpa had black lung so you can stock the shelves and serve the McMuffins in a safe environment, including being vaccinated so you don't spread other inventions of industry like Covid.
Not everyone lives in towns like this but the effects are felt everywhere because the poison isn't just in a mine or a plant anymore. It's in the air, soil, and in everything you consume. The plastic that made the device you are watching this on, and the cobalt mined to make the batteries in your phone, and the mRNA vaccine killing the people forced to take them are all brought to you by the same people in government and industry. They use our labor, our money, and even our lives as the ingredients to the toxic soup that our children will inherit and will be forced to sip from, if you can still have kids after ingesting microplastics day after day.
Just like the toxins that are in your body, the aluminum, the pharmaceuticals, the genetically engineered food, the corruption of government and industry working together destroys what should naturally occur. If there was any liability or justice that companies like Norfolk Southern, Apple, or Pfizer had to face they never would have done this to you. But since the corporation is an invention of government it protects its own and not us.
That's why pursuing a life of Liberty is the best way to achieve health, wealth, and spiritual enlightenment because it removes the mechanisms that prevent things from correcting themselves and evolving. If you want clean air, the government cannot provide that, but if you want some people to lie to you on behalf of their business partners who are owned by the Blackrock and Vanguards and banks of the world then just keep voting for change. You might be dead of whatever cancer the poisoned environment gives you by the time you even pay off the same mistakes in trusting government and industry that the generation before you made.
Every generation has been told by our Prussian modeled schools that they can save the planet, but they've been given the wrong instructions to do so. Maybe if we broke government and industry down to the local level and were able to hold them accountable for the harm they cause the abuse would end and the salt of the earth wouldn't be contaminated by the byproducts of corporatism?

and in the South land, there were factories too. You should have seen what happened to Norfolk during the "W" collapse as he was leaving and "O" filled the vacuum. The old Ford truck plant was closed and quietly, the GM transmission plant in Fredericksburg was closed ( as well as the last incandescent light bulb plant in Winchester) Then there was the once flourishing furniture industry in South West Virginia and North Carolina! Whole towns emptied of decent people and only to leave crime and Oxycontin to fill that vacuum. But the two places here are related once again! The hard wood of Virginia and North Carolina are now harvested, sent to what once the "paint shop" at the old Ford Norfolk truck plant! Guess what they make there? They make wood pellets for burning. Not for the USA though. NO. They are sent to England, where they are used to make electric power in their power plants. Under the very cleverly disguised destruction plan of the west, exists tax credits, for nations who make their power out raw material that they do not mine, pump or harvest in their own nation!
So our renewable Hard woods are sacrificed for a one time smoke off, to pollute the supposed already polluted air, made from a plant that was sacrificed for the big recession and jobs that included peripheral businesses, were struck away and never replaced again. But oh! We see those familiar DG stores in those places as well and they are coveted "jobs". I would bet they are.
In world filled with blind men, a one eyed man is King.
Nice work six!
and don't forget, Government passes laws that help their Fascist company investments and closes off competition to them with those laws.
