EP7 Patriots: Monologue
We may not be on a ship anchored in international waters but make no mistake, we at The New Prisoners are broadcasting a message that the establishment does not want you to hear. This isn't Pirate radio, this is Patriot radio.
The word Patriot is a dangerous one these days. It gives people confidence. A sense of pride. A belief in something greater and more sacred than the orders imposed on us from our corporate board members and dictatorial politicians. It has meaning stemming from a history of revolutionary acts, the ones that overthrow tyrants. It is a word to be attached to free people, that would put themselves before their country, to protect it from outside forces and internal, to fight for the inherent rights of their countrymen.
It is this belief that separates us from the rest of our people. Let it be us, the Patriots, that engage in the struggle for the destiny of our country. We'll say “Let it be me”, because there is no one else to share these messages, to make this broadcast, to say no to my government and my employer.
You can lock me out of the country that I love. You can make me a second class citizen, an untouchable, and I will still love it. I know the glorious story of my beloved home, and the people that fought for it, and I can never discard that because the liberty they fought for is a part of me. It fuels my mind, it pushes the blood through my Patriot heart, and it directs my feet to where free people need me, and brings me to my knees to thank my creator for the blessing of being born in the free world.
We Patriots have suffered the indignity of being compared to murderers and terrorists. We've been smeared as racists and supremacists. We're told that our history and our modern reality is fake news. That our beliefs are selfish and extreme. Our opposition that chooses to do this to us couldn't be projecting more.
For going on two years the world has fallen into the grip of a new brand of tyranny but it still has the same characteristics of the old. It does not allow dissent, it attempts to silence us no matter where we speak. But we still speak the truth. It declares that we are a threat and attempts to fine us, jail us, and physically harm us. But we still gather. They attempt to steal our elections and we come out in greater numbers to vote them out. They ban us from restaurants and we picnic in the street. They forbid us from having life saving medication and we find a way to get it to one another anyway.
We fight them in courts and in school boards, in the streets and the internet, at the polls and at our jobs because the gift given to us upon our birth is always present. They can't take that away from us.
From the fellow citizens held in solitary confinement by our captors, to the ones who defended our neighborhoods from the riots endorsed by the traitors who swore to protect us, we lend our support and donate our hard earned money. Even when our jobs and businesses are threatened for doing so. When our fellow citizens are extorted into taking a medication that they don't want or need, we do the same. We will take to the streets, we will shut down the airlines, the ports, and engage in mass civil disobedience to prevent the violation of what we hold sacred, our inherent human rights.
This isn't a battle we started but one that ends with us. The lies being used to propagandize our people are falling apart. People are demanding answers not orders. We are finding one another and building our communities. We have doctors, teachers, firemen, police, nurses, and soldiers. We have workers from coast to coast and from border to border. Our flag still waves because it always will. Because we refuse to live as the oligarchy tells us to. We, the Patriots know that it is our right to choose how we should live. We celebrate our independence every day. Its demonstrated in our every action and we welcome all to join us. Whether it be a restaurant in New York or a school in Virginia, a port in California or a tarmac at your local airport you will know we are there. Our voices fill rallies and college stadiums. They challenge the regime that attempts to strip us from our birthrights. They are getting louder because more are joining us by the day and our enemies know it.
To paraphrase the words of one of the few Senators willing to support us, Rand Paul: It’s time for us to resist. They can’t arrest all of us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed. Although, we've got a long list of ones they might keep closed or might ought to keep closed. We have either had covid, had the vaccine, or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport. We will not wear a mask. We will not be forced into random screenings and testings, so you can continue your drunk-with-power reign.
The future is free for it is our will that it be so. That will is unbreakable. We will not turn back to the old ways of serfdom or slavery. We are a free people as we were always meant to be. It doesn't matter what you try to take away because we will meet you there. Whatever injustices you have committed against us will be held against you. Our suffering will not be forgotten but we are a people of forgiveness and redemption but I encourage you all, that wage war against freedom, to repent now before more harm is done to our people. We only want peace and voluntary exchange. We want to love one another enough to grant everyone the ability to live as they see fit without coercion.
We don't need a new normal because liberty is our normal. We don't want violence but the snake on one of our flags begs of you not to tread upon us. We don't need your experimental medicines, your passports to exist in society, and we will not allow you to attempt to re-educate and brainwash us or intern us in camps. You can threaten us, intimidate us, and punish us but we will not break. We know and accept that not all of us will escape consequences but we are willing to endure them. As time goes on we will only grow in numbers and in power, the power that exists in every individual around us, a power that supersedes yours, and one that will take its place when you are gone.
You can call it a storm, you can call it a revolution, but whatever the term is it's coming for the dictators and their grasp on power. The sleeping giant of liberty has opened it's eyes and focused its gaze upon the people who choose to plunder its home. To all those who choose to do such a foolish thing, it's probably best to drop what you think you could get away with and ask for forgiveness as you turn around and leave.
The Patriots are assembling. We have built this nation to be a beacon for the world. The greatest leap forward for the individual. We can govern ourselves. So politely hand back what belongs to us cuz we're gonna take it from here.
