Crazy World EP46 : Monologue
We talk quite a bit about situational awareness here on The New Prisoners lately because of all of the insane violence that is happening seemingly all over the world right now. We love our listeners and the last thing we ever wanna read an article about on this show is one detailing the demise of any of you to the political persecution that constantly threatens us or even just random acts.
We're no experts, in fact we just talk shit on the internet, but we've encountered enough information now that we can certainly say that being aware of your surroundings is going to be a necessary tool that you need to get acquainted with for survival in the upcoming years.
I'm not just talking about incidents like a mall shootings or even the more recent attack at a political event for Lee Zeldin in New York, which are disturbing enough, I'm talking about having an awareness of the overarching story that connects all of those things, the war on our perception.
Some call it Optics, some call it The Narrative, but for right now let's just call it The Big Story, because we are all a part of it whether we like it or not. If you have been awakened to the existence of this story and how its being written as we speak you should also be aware that your character's story is being written right now too and so much of how the other characters in this Big Story react to you, think of you, and say about you is dependent upon the amount of truth you speak and the lies that are told by those in power.
To be more aware of our situation in the public's perception, in our own communities, and even in our own minds should be a point of focus that is put into our daily practice moving forward. How can we do that, here's an example:
When you hear someone tell you a story about how something happened, like how President Biden said he had/has cancer recently and White House Officials are sent to clarify the demented creep's statements, I want you to ask “Why?”
That's how it starts for all of us. From the uninitiated to the Donald Jeffries of the world, just asking the simple question of “Why?”
If you can't get an answer to a question you're asking about a story...say, that you hear on the news...why?
If you can't get a straight answer from a politician...why?
If it costs more to live today than it did yesterday...why?
Does it seem like the most powerful people in the world want it to be this way...why?
Every question that you answer is like taking into account where the fire exits are in a crowded theater. Its knowing where the medical tent is at a festival. It's watching the traffic in front of you and in back of you on the highway. There's no difference.
All the little mundane things we do from walking down the steps carrying a laundry basket to jumping out of a helicopter wearing a squirrel suit require awareness. Exercising your right to live in an era of unbelievable authoritarianism does too.
As the media drips information to us like cocaine drips down the back of Hunter Biden's throat, it has the same numbing effect, only on the actions we take, the questions we ask, and the lies we tell ourselves.
I too am just as susceptible of having a normalcy bias. “It can't be that bad!” I have both thought and said that recently and guess what...I was dead wrong, and it was way worse than I could have imagined.
That experience opened up a door if you will in my mind that I cannot close now. More of a gateway than a door I suppose, but anyway, that gateway is open now but it takes critical thinking to keep it open. I have to be aware that every time now that I look at a story and take the facts I know for granted, that I am running head first into one of those gates, like a new puppy that doesn't know any better.
That's the way I have to look at it too. I have to be able to forgive myself and move on from it. Spending too much time lamenting over each story, that has now been expanded into something far greater than I ever would have perceived in what you can call my former life, would require too much of my time and I wouldn't be able to do this anymore. I would just sit around all day and motherfuck myself for being so ignorant and gullible.
You don't have to be in The Illuminati like Jay-Z to brush your shoulders off. In fact, you're gonna need to before we're having this talk in a gulag or through a pipe in between our prisoner pods when we're not munching on cricket pellets.
Be aware now of The Big Story we are told and that its not the whole story, if true at all. Be aware that the people in power are not there to help you, or to even just to help themselves, but to hurt if not exterminate you. Be aware that you may be the last generation or even the last person who can do anything about it.
The situation is real, as real as your life, be aware...and take action.
